Antique L&JG Stickley China Cabinet Oak - W4239

About the Item

Antique L&JG STICKLEY China Cabinet Oak - W4239 Beautiful Antique L&JG STICKLEY China Cabinet from the early 1900s in EXCELLENT condition. The cabinet is crisp with great original warm color, with original hardware and with the original patina. Wonderful selection of quarter-sawn oak. There’s not a drop of overcoat on this oak wood. The glass is antique original wavy glass, no repairs and marked with a period appropriate maker’s mark (by L&JG as pictured). Also as you can see from the image we’ve posted, the back panel is in excellent condition compared to most cabinets we’ve seen in public auctions. (Most have a damaged veneer back.) We have handled a few examples of this China Cabinet model in the past. The finish and color on this particular piece is very special. We guarantee this and other listings to be 100% as described. We do not deal with recent reproduction furniture. This cabinet is in untouched condition with no distressed wood. There have been no repairs or replaced parts and no a drop of overcoat on the oak wood. Dimensions: Height 55" Width 48" Depth 15" *** CONDITION: We do not deal in "Estate Condition" or "As Is" pieces. Unless there is an issue/concern/defect noted in the description, the buyer can be assured that there are none. Many times furniture pieces sold in "Auction" circumstances have problems, such as weakness in the structure, replaced parts, poor repairs, amateur glue or finish work, or veneer lifting/missing. We do not deal in "Flea Market" type items. RESTORATION: When Restoration is needed, we employ an experienced restoration technician and/or a professional artist. Traditional methods and materials are utilized to remedy any concerns. Hide glue was used during construction of furniture in the early 1900s. Such glue deteriorates over time, often creating a need for reworking in order for furniture to continue to be sturdy and strong. Furniture not properly restored does not honor the piece, nor protect the financial investment made by the buyer. SHIPPING & HANDLING: Our items are packed with extreme care by on-site staff, using sturdy containers and excessive fill. We work hard trying to ensure that shipped items reach our customers without damage. We will calculate Exact Shipping Fees when provided with a destination address. Insurance is Required. We ship large items via a Freight service. Buyers may need to pick up items from the nearest trucking company location. Home delivery is often possible for an additional fee. Shipping fees will be combined and adjusted with the purchase of multiple items.
