19th c Chinese Chippendale Style Mahogany Cabinet Étagère, Probably New Zealand

About the Item

A heavily carved Chinese Chippendale style cabinet étagère with pierce carved scrollwork crest surmounting a conforming case with two glass doors, opening to a single shelf interior, flanked by open shelves on either side, and scroll carved skirt, all supported by four cast iron cabriole legs. The cabinet étagère is probably New Zealand in origin, dating to the 19th century, in very good condition, with some minor molding losses, minor restorations, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. A stunning hand carved work of cabinetry for any living space! Dimensions: 45 in H x 47.13in W x 13.25 in D. Ref: 3541
