A 1930s Swedish Marquetry Cabinet

About the Item

A 1930s Swedish marquetry chest. The outside all in figured birch, the front having contrasting horizontal sections of highly figured rosewood with a contrasting ebonized border and stylized branches with leaves and flowers. The base supported by square and tapered legs that are slightly canted. The interior is light colored birch with two shallow drawers on the right and two shelves on each side. The cabinets open with round brass pulls.
