18th Century Large Rococo Black Painted Swedish Cabinet

About the Item

This stately rococo cabinet from Sweden stands on four cabriolet legs that raise the cabinet while adding visual intrigue. Two large paneled doors open to reveal two standard shelves and three interior drawers. Interior is painted a newer, layered blue contrasting the black exterior. Note the distress to the painted finish, revealing the natural pine below and adding character and grace to this cabinet from the 1700's. The cabinet rests above four drawers providing spacious storage throughout. Three keys included; upper cabinet doors lock, lower two drawers keys may be used as pulls. Restored, this pine cabinet is over 7' tall; it is strong, stable and ready for use. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special find.
