New York City Belle Époque Bar Cabinet from the American Golden Age, circa 1890

About the Item

From the American Golden Age, a very fine Belle Époque Sideboard or Buffet Cabinet in exquisite West Indies mahogany. New York City, circa 1880. Base features bowed center cabinet doors with finely carved panels, flanked by a cabinet door on each side with a bottom drawer below each, and three utensil drawers above. Top offers open shelving with a gallery at either side of a central mirror, and a top shelf with an elaborate bonnet with a gallery of carved open trellis work, a carved relief on center panel and finials.
