A Glasgow School Arts & Crafts oak buffet w/ Plank sides and central plank back

About the Item

A Glasgow School Arts and Crafts oak buffet with Plank sides and central plank back the accenuated tops and the split heart inlays a typical detail of Taylor and Ednie but Ednies work more follows Mackintosh's style and with the arched details at the bottom of the planks and turned disc details to the uprights with the sweetest square detail just above the turned disks with these Mackintosh style details it is more likely to be by him. Height 48, Width 48, Depth 20 1/2". Circa 1900.
