About the Item
Grand scale European Art Deco sideboard buffet china cabinet, circa 1930, with curved ends, unmarked but probably German or Eastern European, in exquisite bookmatched burlwood veneers and tons of storage space for all your china, silver, glassware and serving accoutrement.
Set-back upper section with pair of cabinets with adjustable shelves and locking doors to the left and open cabinet on the right with adjustable glass shelves and pair of sliding glass doors. Solid brass shelf pins marked DRPM for Desta Stahlmobel.
Lower section has two pull-out serving boards inset with marble above lower cabinet in three sections: three drawers including one lined for silverware; middle double door open storage cabinet with supports for a single horizontal shelf; right end cabinet with removable shelf.
Standing on beautifully veneered and rounded base.
Beautifully restored including working locks and keys and two thick tempered glass shelves for open glass door cabinet.
Amazing heft as if it were made for an ocean liner.
