Pair of Art Deco Style Birch Room Dividers

About the Item

Pair of Art Deco Style Birch Room Dividers. Square form with a compartment above three drawers and multiple divided shelves. All are made from remarkably figured burled "Cerulean Birch" with beautiful golden patina. Northern Europe, circa early 20th century. A striking pair of Art Deco style room dividers or open bookcases, crafted from beautifully burled Cerulean Birch and finished with a warm golden patination that highlights the wood's natural figuring. The design is both architectural and sculptural, featuring an asymmetrical arrangement of open compartments, ideal for displaying books, objects, or art. Each divider includes three small drawers with brass knobs, offering a touch of concealed storage within the graphic grid layout. The subtle sheen of the golden finish enhances the material's depth, while the contrasting ebonized plinth base grounds the piece with classic Deco refinement. Perfect as a freestanding shelving units, statement display pieces, or functional space dividers. These pieces exude timeless elegance and versatility. Sold as a pair. Priced individually upon request.
