MYDNA Bookcase is part of MYDNA collection designed by Joel Escalona and its fabricated in Mexico City in plywood and heavy-duty fibers.
NONO is a Mexican design brand with more than 10 years of experience dedicated to the production of interior furnishings, editions, and custom-made projects. Joel Escalona is a Mexican designer, difficult to define with a single word. His constant search for clarity, integrity and harmony led to his development as a designer with an obvious inclination towards visual arts, such as painting and sculpture. Joel’s work is characterized by thorough and elegant processes, sometimes creative, other times productive and on occasion, a bit introspective. In his work, it is possible to find glimpses of his charismatic and ironic personality, resorting to elements such as lyric, humor and poetry as attributes that are in constant connection throughout his body of work.
