About the Item
Antique Country French Louis XIV China Buffet ~ Bookcase ~ Dry Bar is a very versatile piece that will add style, flair and functionality to any room! Hand-crafted from solid oak that has been painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house staff, it features brass hinges and key guards, and glass panels on the upper doors so it can serve as a display piece. Open the upper doors, and note the pair of contoured and beveled shelves set upon adjustable mounts which add even more panache. The exterior includes a shell carved atop the boldly arched and molded crown, with carvings on the corner posts and center stile, both above and below. The most arresting carved detail appears on the pair of lower cabinet doors, which also open to reveal cavernous space. There's even a little step-out on the lower cabinet that gives you a little space for preparation if you choose to use it as a dry bar, and a stemware rack under the bottom-most shelf below. Fancy yet casual, in a size that will fit most spaces!
