This is a 7' 4'' wide antique museum bookcase. An English, mahogany glazed library cabinet, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840. Exceptional proportion, ideal for the collector or institution Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich russet hues Quality glass present to each door, with a clear, bright view within Arranged as three generous compartments, each with a dual shelf interior Doors accessed by tactile twist pulls, in pleasingly aged brass Shelves can be removed or adjusted for height as required Stood upon a deep, tapered plinth base, with a panelled rear over bracket feet This is a superb antique museum bookcase, with over 6' 8'' of shelf width for displaying collections of works, or ornamental pieces. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home or institution.
