- Condition:Replacements made: This piece is a survivor!, I can't tell you if the locks or escutcheons are original to the piece but this is a good looking chest, it has the keys to the locks and I think you'd be very lucky to have this. Repaired: There have been various repairs done to this piece, the structure of this chest is original and it is very old and in solid condition. If you were this old, you'd have some work done also. Wear consistent with age and use. This piece is a survivor!, there have been restorations done and I can't tell you if the locks or escutcheons are original to the piece but this is a good looking chest, it has the keys to the locks and I think you'd be very lucky to have this.
