This archetypical wingback chair of the 1950s is both extremely comfortable and pleasing to the eyes. This easy chair with round decorative ball feet made of beech. The chair features a backrest with flattering vertical seams. The seat is thick and the armrests are beautifully rounded. With its pristine white upholstery this item makes a nice impression. This chair is a true classic piece, a comfortable lounge chair that will fit perfectly in a cosy reading corner or living room area.

Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. Grand high back chair newly upholstered by the experienced craftspeople in our in-house atelier. This chair features an exceptional high backrest with wings, giving it a very theatrical appearance. Typical for Italian midcentury design are the curvy, bold shapes such as the voluptuous armrests. The green feet are small and conical. This chair is a comfortable classic winged chair with an elegant high back that will fit perfectly in a cosy corner.
Guglielmo Ulrich (1904-1977) was an Italian architect, furniture designer and writer. After attending the Scuola Speciale di Architettura at the Brera Academy and graduating in architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 1927 Ulrich started his successful career. Together with Renato Wild he founded a furniture manufacturing company called ‘Arca’ in 1930. The company focused on exquisite materials and luxurious designs.
