This two-seater Danish sofa has an elegant, modern edge that is unmistakeable of the era. The design features clean, sharp angles and rounded lines to create a perfect balance that shows why Danish cabinetmakers are still widely renowned today. Mid-century modern's timeless appeal has made it a go-to for designers and homeowners alike, as furniture in this style can be understated but still stand out in almost any space. A master cabinetmaker is not a carpenter, as this was a rare breed of craftsman who had to be recognized by the Danish government after several years of toiling at his craft, as well as having to ace gruelling design competitions before becoming a master cabinetmaker.
