About the Item
Italian modern orange fabric opening sofa bed, Anfibio style, 1980s.
Sofa bed without a basic structure but only composed of a folding backrest included in the armrest part, which, once opened, acts as a frame for the mattress itself, which is also foldable. The sofa can be used when closed as a simple seat for the sofa or when open as a double mattress.
Covered in orange cotton fabric, with Velcro placed on the two straps behind the backrest, necessary to keep it closed, and finally black metal zipper useful for keeping the seat closed in its sofa version.
1980 approx.
Good condition, fabric with faded color in some parts and with an armrest profile with evident stains, but generally well maintained and free of tears.
