Mid-Century Modern / Hollywood Regency Faux Bamboo Aluminum Pool Patio Sofa Set - 5 Pc Set. Believed to be by Hauser. Set is unmarked. Item features a cast aluminum faux bamboo design frames, vinyl strap seats (vinyl straps in great condition), very nice green upholstered cushions, clean Modernist lines, great style and form. Set includes (1) Sofa, (2) Lounge chairs, (2) 2 tier side tables with laminated tops. Circa 1970s.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Good vintage condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of use as pictured. Finish to metal frames shows wear throughout with exampled pictured and should be refinished. The vinyl straps and upholstered cushions are in great condi.

John Hauser
John Hauser was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but became fascinated with the American Indian of the Southwest and West at a young age; so much so that he painted and depicted them for the rest of his life in various aspects of their everyday living. He painted many portraits of Native Americans, including Sitting Bull and Red Cloud. He is also known for the realistic accuracy reflected in his paintings. Hauser’s Mountain Desert Trail has been exhibited in several impressive showrooms and boasts many references to substantiate its importance in Western art circles. He has exhibited widely and with success. Hauser died in 1913 in the United States.
