Extra Long Mid Century Modular 6-Seat Sofa

About the Item

Unusual sectional, or modular, sofa having 6 distinct chair sections, which can be hooked together to form one very long sofa (143 inch) or used in shorter configurations, each chair is section 23 in W. The oak frame supports the vinyl upholstered seats and backrests. Frames signed Uni-Dapt Product of Lewittes & Sons New York. Originally from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, probably a custom design, as this sofa is a stylistic departure from the standard Lewittes catalogue. Measures: Total H 32 x arm H 28 x seat H 17 inches. Arm rests are removable if you want to use this as a bench. 2 vinyl seats have minor tears, one has a small burn.
