Drabert Lobbytop three-seater leather sofa by Otto Zapf, 1979

About the Item

This Lobbytop three-seater sofa made of black leather comes in soft, high-quality leather with minimal patina on the seats. The solid metal frame covered with rubber-like plastic is flawless and has a plastic shell in which the cushions are placed and inserted. The sofa offers excellent seating comfort. The German designer Otto Zapf designed the Lobbytop range at the end of the 1970s for the German manufacturer Drabert in a line that was ahead of its time. In 1979 he received the IF Design Award for the Lobbytop line. Drabert was one of the most important furniture manufacturers in the 1960s and 1970s, known for its high-quality office furniture and during this period cooperating with well-known designers such as Gerd Lange, Otto Zapf, etc.
