Danish Mid-Century Three-Seat Sofa by Ludvig Pontoppidan, circa 1950

About the Item

Beautiful sought after three-seat sofa by Ludvig Pontoppidan made in Denmark probably between late 1940s and 1950. The design is a classic Pontoppidan with slim elegant scoop-like lines and a very modern look way ahead of its time. The sofa is solid and sturdy showing just minor wear to the teak legs. Spring loaded cushions and backrest very comfortable and supportive at the same time. The fabric needs to get replaced and we are able to offer re-upholstery services at a very affordable price. Overall very good condition.
