California Modern Rancho Style Sofa by the Monterey Furniture Company c. 1930's
About the Item
Incredible full size sofa by the Monterey Furniture Company, made in California, circa 1930's.
The sofa features a solid wood ( probably Alder Wood ) frame with heavy wrought iron joinery, and signature hand painted decorative panels at the back support. This example also has a long drop table arm panel, which can be extended to create a table surface. The sofa is in very fine, clean, original, undamaged condition, it is missing the cushions, as shown.
