The Cartouche-shaped back veneered in figured burr walnut, the silk needlework upholstery (from a later period) in a flower design and silk on the armrest give this chair a very rich look.
The firm chair is in good condition, only the upholstery from the seat has on the side a few cracks. Because this hand-stitched fabric with a flower design is so beautiful and usable, I left it that way.
