Artisanaal antique hand crafted brutalist farm house side chair, Dutch
About the Item
Gorgeously patinated early artisanal farm house chair. This chair came to us as Dutch so we've kept that attribution but needless to say overtime could have come from multiple other countries such as France for example. In these cases it really doesn't matter as this chair oozes patina, wear and tear but is structurally still in great condition and just a lovely addition to most interiors.

Extreme Rare Dutch Brutalist Solid Oak Table- Side Chair '50
Located in Boven Leeuwen, NL
Authentic Mid-Century Dutch Brutalist Oak Chair
Step into the bold world of Brutalist design with this exceptional and rare oak chair from the 1950s. Crafted in the heart of the Netherlands, this piece stands as a testament to the robust and raw architectural movement that celebrates materials in their most unadorned form.
Constructed with the strength and durability emblematic of Brutalist design, the chair's solid oak structure showcases a commanding presence. Its weighty, substantial form is balanced by the understated beauty of the wood's natural grain, which has been allowed to develop a deep, expressive patina over the decades.
Upholstered with a fabric that features an understated floral motif, the chair offers an inviting texture contrast to the oak's ruggedness. This upholstery provides a touch of softness to the otherwise imposing structure, ensuring that comfort isn't sacrificed for the sake of style.
A standout feature of this Brutalist chair is the cleverly integrated wooden side table. Practical and unpretentious, it epitomizes the functionalist ethos of the movement, making it an ideal spot for your books or drinks.
This chair is more than a seating option—it's a statement. Ideal for collectors, designers, and aficionados of the Brutalist aesthetic, it promises to be a focal point in any contemporary or vintage-inspired interior.
