Spectacular Paul Frankl Style Art Deco 5-Strand Rattan and Cane Seating Set
About the Item
An absolutely jaw-dropping rare, meticulously restored Art Deco five (5)-strand Pretzel loungers and matching sofa, circa 1950. The pieces have mellowed to a fabulous Peanut tone. While unmarked, these incredible difficult to find examples are consistent with the Paul Frankl rattan production, circa 1950. Stout, expertly crafted rattan construction with handsome cane binding accents. Extremely comfortable. Special chairs specifically designed to anchor a cherished room. The restored frames are shipped ready for upholstery. Sofa measures: 77 inches wide, 27 inches high (back), 35.5 inches deep, 12 inch seat platform. EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDITION. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish demonstrates a stunning depth and luster. ALL cane bindings are NEW, intact and complete. Expert custom upholstery service is available. Measurements listed are per the club chairs.
