Pine Scissor Chairs, A Pair
About the Item
Modernist pine scissor chairs. These have lines reminiscent of Pierre Jeanerret’s scissor chair for Knoll but are a more utilitarian take. Executed in solid pine, and with an unpretentious yet strikingly clean design; they will work in a range of environments. Slatted seat and backrest fold flat for storage, complimented by a single exaggerated and eye-catching fastener molded in a durable gray nylon resin. Cushions (optional) added for additional comfort are done in a 100% wool woven textile by Herman Miller. Age appropriate signs of use. Netherlands, 1960s.
