About the Item

These are Aulenti Lounge Chairs, initially designed by Gae Aulenti for Knoll International in 1974 as part of the Aulenti Collection. The listed price includes one lounge chair, and we have 8 available for purchase. Their design features a dark brown enameled-steel frame, and these examples retain their original blue leather upholstery. The Aulenti Collection debuted in 1976; Several coordinating silhouettes were simultaneously released, including lounge seating, side chairs, and high and low tables. The Aulenti Collection was first manufactured in 1976 and stopped production in 1999. Each chair measures 33 inches deep, 31 inches wide, and is 30 inches high. They have a seat height of 16 inches. The blue leather is patinated and has various scuffs and fading, and there are some scratches and nicks on the chocolate brown enameled steel frames.
