About the Item
Finest carpentry made walnut 1960's dining chairs (4) by Icelandic-Swedish designer Eyjolfur Augustsson.
Made (and signed with metal plate under seats) by Snickeri HJ. Jackson, Stockholm formerly Hjalmar Jackson as the company was taken over after his death in 1956 by his son.
The beautiful round back support made of solid walnut shows impressive craftsmanship. The subtle detailing of the rejuvenation on the wood of the front legs is a small but great detail that makes the chairs show their grand quality.
1st quality aniline leather is used for the seat, which will only make the chairs more beautiful with use.
Fully restored, chairs are in pristine condition.
