About the Item

With a minimalist design that nods to industrial style, these French chairs from the 1980s stand out for their simplicity. A red metal rod seems to race around, shaping the volume of a multifunctional, lightweight, and stackable seat, suitable for both domestic settings and public spaces such as bars and restaurants. The seat and backrest are made with a dense weave of cellulose fiber. The combination of two different materials - the first industrially produced and the second closely linked to nature - is suggestive for its ability to evoke different emotions. French-made chairs, they are part of a taste trend that has characterized a recognizable national style since the 1960s and has influenced fashions. Very rare set of four vintage Chiavari dining chairs Model P5 internally designed and produced by the renowned manufacturer Fratelli Podestà in the 1970s.
