Set Of Six Antique Hepplewhite Style Dining Chairs for Restoration

About the Item

Restoration recommended for this set of Hepplewhite Style chairs dating to the 1920's and possibly earlier. Including two arm and four side chairs. With shaped carved crest rails and fan form openwork splats with delicate carved bell flowers down the centers. The armchairs with curved carved ribbed arms. Raised on carved square tapering front legs and square splayed back legs. With H stretchers and back stretchers. The shaped seats upholstered in pale gray faux leather. H. 38 1/2", W. 24", Depth 26", seat H. 18 1/2" Condition: Please see detail photos. Some level of restoration is recommend as one armchair has a replaced (stable) center splat with no carving and worn arms, some wear to a few wood seat backs as well as the stretchers. Despite the wear the chairs sit well and have an admirable form.
