Set of Eight 18th Century Swedish Gustavian Neoclassical Dining Chairs

About the Item

Set of Eight 18th Century Swedish Gustavian Neoclassical Dining Chairs were very recently reupholstered in a high quality fabric and will make a great choice for your dining and entertaining pleasure! Each chair was styled in a classical revival design which includes a contoured, rounded seat back crown over a splat sculpted to depict a Greek urn pierce-carved to enhance its presence, and flanked by uprights carved at the top with foliates. The base features flared legs to increase stability with a full wraparound apron for longevity, with pegged mortise & tenon joints throughout the design in the finest traditions of quality craftsmanship. Professionally upholstered, they will immediately become family heirlooms you'll cherish for decades to come! Circa 1790s Each measures 35H x 18.5W x 20.5D; seat 18H
