Iconic Danish Mid-Century Modern daybed, sofa - model GE- 258 designed by Hans Wegner for Getma. This example is in very good, estate condition, specifically the fabric shows wear, stains, and a small tear (see images). The frames, woodwork, finish and structure are all original and in very good condition. The fold up mechanism which transforms the sofa into a bed works smoothly and easily. Chic, sophisticated, architectural form, great usable scale, timeless design from recognized master of the genre.
