About the Item
French Leather Club Chair Restored in Toulouse, France with all New Sheep Leather. Normally this is where I would be telling you how our Old Plank Upholstery department completely disassembled the Club Chair and rebuilt the leather Club Chair from the frame up and try to validate the cost of doing something correctly. Sadly, this French Leather Club Chairs were restored in Toulouse by a professional French upholster who graduated from a prestigious trade school. Judging by our 30-years of restoring French Leather Club Chairs at Old Plank, I would guess that this upholster probably failed the course. The look is OK and sitting at best is fair and the quality of the leather is actually a nice, but they did not disassemble the chairs to the bare frames like our Old Plank workshop does, which is necessary in order to do a proper restoration and hence the attractive price.
