A Fabulous French Leather Club Chair, Chapeau de Gendarme model Circa 1950’s This beautiful chair is a fantastic example. The original Havana brown leather has aged perfectly. After being cleaned and nourished the leather has revealed a gorgeous patina of rich browns and chestnut. The condition of the chair is excellent, and the leather still has a suppleness. The sheen which you see in the photos is the result of the cleaning and nourishment process, this will soon mellow. All the necessary seat and cushion has been done for your comfort. Needless to say, this chair is very lovely to sit in. This is a classic chair in fabulous condition. Good luck, bonne chance.
