Wood Shell Chair

About the Item

This molded plywood chair is one of the best-known pieces by Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen (1914 – 1972). Designed in 1949, it has an oval backrest with symmetrical cutouts, creating an interplay of curves. Comfortable to sit on, this is a chair that will add history to a room while remaining suitable for everyday use.
