Set of chairs first half of the 20th century marked JOSIAS EISSLER & SOHNE WIEN

About the Item

Group of seven chairs from the first half of the 20th century made of bentwood marked JOSIAS EISSLER & SOHNE WIEN. The manufacturers represented a small Viennese handicraft business founded before 1880 within the large group of companies famous for producing bent beech furniture. JOSIAS EISSLER & SOHNE WIEN had quality production at lower prices than Thonet or Kohn. The group of 7 chairs is in good overall condition, for better performance of recommend to re-polish them. Two straws are found to be broken as pictured.
