Pair of late 18th century Swedish period Gustavian chairs with hand scraped to its most original finish. This type of chair is called the Swedish model, oval back frame with carved rose medal. Sweden ca 1780 Measurements: WIDTH 19" IS MEASURED WIDEST POINT BETWEEN OUTSIDE OF SEAT FRAME DEPTH 20.50" IS MEASURED OUTSIDE THE FRONT SEAT FRAME TO DISTANCE TO SLIGHTLY SLENDER TOP BACK FRAME. HIGHT 37.50" IS MEASURED FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TIP OF THE ROSE MEDALLION OF THE BACK FRAME. SEAT HIGHT 19" IS MEASURED FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TOP OF THE SEAT CUSHION. SEAT HIGHT FROM THE FLOOR TO WOODEN SEAT FRAME IS 15.50"
