Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Elephant Hide Gray Shell Chairs, Five

About the Item

A set of five fine Eames for Herman Miller Elephant Hide Gray fiberglass side shell chairs with the original H aluminum bases, mounts and glides. Molded M marking, Herman Miller on the bottom with ink stamps. Circa 1969. These came out of the IBM offices in Poughkeepsie, New York. Approximately 21" deep x 18.5" wide x 31" high. the seat height is approximately 18". Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some cosmetic blemishes and slight fade, but still a highly saturated, strong color. Structurally sound and sturdy construction. The shock mounts are in good condition. No visible cracks to the shells. Plastic glides are in good condition.
