Half-Round Pod Chair with Chrome Base
About the Item
This playful 1970s pod chair swivels on a polished chrome base. The back of the pod is made from resin and the seating surface is soft synthetic leather. It's a good example of futuristic or "space age" furniture as often shown in movies like "2001: A Space Odyssey " or "Sleeper". The synthetic leather is in overall good condition with no tears but there is some abrasion and loss of grain in some areas. This is expected due to age and use. The plastic resin back is in overall good condition with a few scratches. The chrome bases are in very good condition with only minor scratches. The swivel mechanism works well. The chair is very comfortable and adds a curvaceous counterpoint to any room's décor.
