Brown Mid Century Modern chair or side chair designed by Otto Niedermoser and executed by Thonet Austria, circa 1950. The paper label with the business lettering Thonet is labeled underneath Also the chair was made of honey colored solid maple tree, plywood and the metal connections. The vintage condition is very good and ready to live with. approx. measures: Width 45 cm Depth 52 cm Height 91.5 cm Seat height 46 cm Otto Niedermoser (1903-1976) was a popular Viennese architect and film architect. 1924 Otto Niedermoser designed 2 houses for the Viennese Werkbundsiedlung. Also he had many building activities in Vienna, Salzburg and overseas (e.g. scene images for the Salzburger Festspiele, Scene images for Otto Preminger, and many more) Otto Niedermoser has got many awards also the Professur and the guidance for the academy of Fine Arts.
