About the Item

1960's Pel Tubular Metal Upholstered Dining Chairs - Set Of Four. Pel chairs are a British essential and this set was an incredible find, nearly all with Pel branding. Pel are best known for the simpler tubular frame ply seat chairs and we this is the first time we have seen this design of heavy weight upholstered dining chair. The frames are a heavy weight graphite black and the chairs retain their tough rexine upholstered seats and backs. These chairs have some nicks, tears and wear and tear in the upholstery as shown in the photos. Our workshop services and rejuvenates each chair before it leaves us. Seat Height 45cm. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
