Pair Of Fine Quality Carved Walnut Fauteuils
About the Item
The elegant Louis XV style armchair with a carved and scrolled crest rail with open cartouche in the center. The sloping arms with scrolls and the ends with carved acanthus leaves. Raised on cabriole front legs with carved acanthus leaves on the knees and scrolls on the feet. Curved back legs. The back, seat and manches upholstered in a nice yellow and gray striped polished cotton type fabric.
H. 38", W. 25 1/2", Depth 18", seat H. 18"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some acceptable age-related wear to the crest rail and arm ends which do not detract from the fine French presentation.
