Contemporary Corner Bench in Raw Waxed Steel

About the Item

Based on the simple lines traced by children when asked to draw a house, the Corner Collection is a series of seats reminiscent of gable roofed houses. The Corner Lounge is the largest iteration of the form, perfect for those coffee and a book kind of afternoons. The metal panels of each piece are cut, folded and carefully welded together to create the forms. Each surface is then finished by hand and sealed either with a wax or lacquer. The nature of the finishing method- as well as the selection of the timber planks for the wood version- makes each piece of the collection entirely individual. Each seat is a signed and numbered edition. The Corner Collection was first introduced in aluminium but is now also available in steel and wood. Different metals, finishes and timber species are also available upon request The studio encourages designers to get in touch about producing site-specific pieces. The collection is extremely versatile and can be customised to suit various different environments; customisation in form, materials and finish are welcome. Wooden box is included in the price.
