Swedish Armchair

About the Item

19th century Scandinavian armchair in beech and linnen. This charming armchair was made in Sweden in the local neoclassical style. As common practice in this region the chair is painted with natural pigments. Unusual is the black color. The black accentuates the fluent lines and has a nice overall patina. This piece was completely restored and new upholstered. No visible insets were necessary.
