A Pair of Early Louis XV Walnut Fauteuils A La Reine, 18th Century With square back and yoke arch top rail, the exposed hand rests carved with leaves, on scroll supports to serpentine seat rails carved with conforming foliated reliefwork, on acanthus carved cabriole legs and scroll feet, the back, arm-rests and seat upholstered in tan silk damask. Provenance: Private French Collection, Christie's New York 2013. Dimension: Depth: 62 cm Width: 73 cm Height: 110 cm Seat Height: 50 cm (From top of fabric to the ground).
