About the Item

An inviting pair of French 19th century Napoleon III style armchairs that embody leisure and luxury in one design. Currently upholstered in a dotted velvet of cream and teal, these chairs offer the thoughtful proportions of a classic tub chair, with a generous seatback in “chapeau de gendarme” silhouette to provide support and cozy comfort for reading or conversation. Petite rolled arms transition into low seats propped up on short, ebonized feet. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. Sold as a pair. Seat height: 15”
