19th Century German Biedermeier Polished Mahogany Armchair - Antique Side Chair

About the Item

A dark-brown, antique German Biedermeier single armchair made of hand shellac polished Mahogany, in good condition. The detailed side chair has a half round, arched backrest with slim armrests which are particularized with rams heads. The corner chair is standing on four curved wooden legs. Newly upholstered in a purple, grey velvet. Restored, refurbished and hand polished. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1810 - 1830, Germany. Seat: 18.75" H x 19.75" W x 17.75" D.
