About the Item
Add some French design flair to any room with this traditional Aubusson needlepoint rug. Rug features scrolling acanthus leaves and floral cones which offset a pretty center of tasseled ribbons. A medallion of deep red roses and green leaves surrounds a golden sun representing Louis XIV. The color palette has a light, neutral cream background featuring additional neutral hues in golds and grays. The five inch border design consists of a repeat pattern of intertwining leaves surrounded on both sides by linear gold bands. This rug is made of 100% wool, knotted and very soft on bare feet. Originally purchased from Neiman Marcus' beautiful Horchow Collection, this rug is like new and in pristine condition. It has been professionally cleaned and stored and is ready to use.
