Classic Antique Turkish Oushak Rug, Lavender Tones, circa 1920s
About the Item
In a semi-geometric style with short fluted lateral columns joining the lobed corner pieces, defining a straw-buff field anchored by a pendanted stepped and lobed pale lavender medallion. Stiff floral sprays around. Ragged and petal palmettes on a faceted meander decorate the border. Coarse weave, wool foundation. Good condition with slight overall wear.
