Vintage Fine Distressed Malayer Rug Runner

About the Item

:: Repeating diagonally oriented boteh blossoms within the main field wrapped by a wide banded main border of mirrored geometric botehs with interior germinating plant designs. Colors and shades include: Dusty teal, dusty sky blue, duty denim blue, terracotta, dusty copper red, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some light uneven tension to one corner, which will improve through use, wear, and a pad. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug runner made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 4'6" x 9'.
