This handwoven antique, circa 1890, Persian Tabriz rug features an ivory field with an overall design with a light blue vase motif supported by a split-palmette and issuing a floral spray and surrounded by a bold polychrome palmette and floral vine, in a light blue border of polychrome palmette and serrated leaf and floral vine between ivory floral vine stripes inner Y-pattern stripe.
