1900s Fine Antique Persian Farahan Sarouk Rug, Soft Red Field & Blue Subfield

About the Item

This is an extremely attractive west Persian village scatter rug that features a natural and soft red field centered on a pointed oval ecru medallion with en suite pendants. Secondary navy palmette medallions and ecru ragged palmettes decorate the field. Light blue corners. Narrow navy border with reversing turtle palmettes. Fine weave, cotton foundation, good condition. A fine piece and a great collectors item!.
